Welcome! I'm Kelsey, I'm a licensed electrologist in North Anson, Maine. I became interested in electrolysis because I love helping people feel good about themselves. Services

Electrolysis is the only FDA approved method for permanent hair removal. It does take a series of treatments to get long-lasting results. Electrolysis works on all hair types and colors. Electric Beauty works on all people from different walks of life. I am LGBTQIA friendly.

FAQ

Electrolysis hair removal involves placing a sterilized probe in the hair follicle and administering a small amount of electrical energy to destroy the ability for the hair follicle to regenerate and grow a new hair. Although this method is permanent, it takes a series of treatments to get there.

There are many different reasons for hair growth such as hereditary, metabolic, and/or hormonal. Electrolysis works for all hair types and color, unlike laser.

The average hair growth cycle is 12 weeks and each hair falls somewhere on that continuum. Electrolysis treatment is a commitment to yourself and should be done regularly to get the hair in their growing stage. The number of treatments will vary as there are many factors involved such as age, ethnic background, hormone levels, and previous hair removal methods.

Trimming is best and shaving is okay but tweezing, waxing, or plucking will promote hair growth.
